Jason is a sought-after educator and has taught jazz violin and mandolin to students of all ages at string camps, workshops, and clinics around the world. In addition to being one of the youngest violin instructors at the Berklee College of Music, Jason spends his summers teaching at various string camps across the country including the Crested Butte Django Dream Camp, Mark O'Connor Fiddle Camp, Christian Howes' Creative Strings Workshop, Berklee College of Music 5-Week Performance Program, Swannanoa Gathering, Djangofest Northwest, Mike Block String Camp, Fiddle Hell, and Django in June. Funded by a faculty development grant from Berklee, Jason also recently traveled to Japan to conduct a series of violin workshops . Jason regularly contributes educational columns to Fiddler Magazine, conducts lessons with students across the country via skype, and contributes instructional videos to Christian Howes' Creative Strings Academy and DC Music School.
